From Me

Hello Readers.

As my run-on sentence of a blog description says, I’m a journalism graduate. Hopefully the quality of my writing usually attests to that. I’m interested in social justice and nonprofits, but I’m not sure yet what exactly my place is. I like to swing dance and talk about God, old movies, social issues, and other things that I find interesting. I’m not too worried about people contesting my blog topics, because I think we all have more in common than we think.

Basie’s Boots = “Hey there cutes, put on your basie boots and come dance with me,” from Frank Sinatra’s song Come Dance With Me. He’s referring to the Count Basie Orchestra.
